Microgaming agrees deal with NBC to create Battlestar Galactica slot game

The online casino software developer Microgaming has announced that it had agreed a deal this week with NBC Universal Television Consumer Products that will see the creation of a Battlestar Galactica themed slot game.

Battlestar Galactica was one of the most popular sci-fi television series when it first hit television screens in 1978 but was re-launched in the last decade and has proven to be even more popular now with sci-fi fans.

The new slot game is expected to hit online casinos before the end of this year and will be based around the series of events that occur in the television series. It is sure to be a big hit with fans of the show and an enjoyable new slot game experience for those players that aren’t familiar with the series.

The series is based on the story of humans attempting to find a new planet to live on whilst also trying to escape the evil clutches of their enemy, the Cylons. Since its re-launch, the series has won three Emmy awards and attracted millions of dedicated viewers.
