Playtech look set to release an Ace Ventura Pet Detective slot game real soon

Gaming software company Playtech have released details today of a brand new release coming soon. The film Ace Ventura Pet Detective, starring comic actor Jim Carrey is to be crafted into a slot game. The story of the whacky detective, who locates lost or stolen pets, will be played out on the reels in an exclusive for Playtech.

The new pet detective slot will have 243 paylines and will feature many clips, sounds and quotes from the first film in the franchise. Jim Carrey features heavily in the game, popping up and goofing around on the reels as he unlocks rewards. There are in-game symbols to collect, featuring several of the lost pets. By collecting these players can activate bonus features for bigger wins.

The date of release has not yet been confirmed by Playtech, but it is expected to be any day now. It follows the release of blockbuster movie slot ‘Top Gun’, which came out at the end of November.
