Swedish casino software company NetEnt have released a new ‘Free Round’ widget on their NetEnt Engage™ portfolio of games. According to a press release from NetEnt, the Free Round widget “offers free spins in a fun, innovative and exciting way”, as well as assisting casinos in increasing engagement and building loyalty.
The Free Round widget will not interfere with the base game of any slot that it is part of, appearing as a separate entity. We are also led to believe that it does not have any connection to the overall RTP of a particular slot game, which will be welcome news for most players. Casino operators are not obliged to offer the new Free Rounds widget and it is seen instead as a tool to offer players more incentives during play.
