Casino game developer SkillOnNet will gain access to the German iGaming market following a successful license application in the country.

SkillOnNet got the green light to offer online slots to citizens of Germany in all states from the country’s gambling regulator, die Länder der Gemeinsamen Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL).

All brands in the SkillOnNet will be covered by the license, however, the company has intimated that they will lead with their German-optimized casino site, DrueckGluek.

This casino site has been operating in Germany since 2015 under a license from the state of Schleswig-Holstein, and is also a sponsor of 2 Bundesliga football club Holstein Kiel.

Michael Golembo, Sales and Marketing Director at SkillOnNet, said: “Germany is a huge market with a massive audience for slots. Having the official German license means SkillOnNet players will be part of a fully regulated experience, feeling more confident, safe and secure, many for the first time.

“It’s also a recognition that we meet the high standards of the German licensing regime and are prepared to work with regulators to meet those standards, reinforcing that responsible gaming is the cornerstone of everything we do.”
