Independent games studio Thunderkick has released Zap Attack!, a new slot game with an alien invasion theme. Set in a small town of ‘Roswealth’, Zap Attack! charts the fate of local residents coming to terms with multiple alien sightings right on their door steps.
Sci-fi feel
The game is presented on a 5×5 grid with 25 paylines and draws inspiration from 1950s sci-fi movies. It is set in the town of Roswealth, where players find themselves in the midst of an alien takeover.
There’s a Wild symbol shaped like a UFO that can appear during any spin, substituting for all symbols except Scatters. Expanding Multiplier Wilds can take over a whole reel when they contribute to a winning combination, offering random multipliers of up to 5x for that payline.
Zap Attack free spins
During the bonus round, a high-paying alien character can use a ray gun on a mid-win symbol, with each shot filling up a progressive meter. When the meter is full, the targeted mid-win symbol transforms into the alien for the rest of the round and awards an extra free game.
Zap Attack! is another addition to Thunderkick’s game portfolio, emphasizing the studio’s dedication to creating engaging gameplay experiences. It follows recent releases like Sword of Shoguns and Grand Melee, which were also well-received by players.
