Arrival slot summary
The Betsoft slot Arrival is a space-themed game packed full of 3D graphics and plenty of bonus features.
The classic story of man vs alien sees the blond beefcake Marine and his brainy scientist girlfriend up against the big-headed Brain Alien. The human’s job is to keep the galaxy safe and out of the clutches of the Brain, but he has other ideas.
Bonus Features Galore!
This slot is jam-packed with features, none of which are particularly rewarding. There is the abduction bonus, where Brain manages to kidnap the girlfriend and it is the job of the marine to free her. It is triggered by landing three or more of the girl symbols on any of the five reels. You hit buttons to release the force field she is trapped in. You are rewarded a cash prize for freeing her from the trap.
Earn a Special Wild Reel Bonus
There is a special wild reel feature when you get three or more of the Brain Alien symbols showing simultaneously. One of the reels will turn wild and it will be held for up to 5 spins. I am always hoping it is Reel 2 or 3, but invariably it is 4 or 5.
Use the Raygun to Win a Cash Prize
The last bonus feature is the ‘Click Me’ game, triggered by three or more Raygun symbols. In this game the Marine will fire at some tiny UFO’s to reveal a cash bonus.
Our View...
Arrival is an entertaining slot and all credit to the designers, as there is lots of clever 3D effects and amusing little action clips. However, much like the cash-themed Mr Vegas slot or exotic Aztec Treasures game, there are too many features and not really enough big wins. I find it very hard to get into these online slots and it doesn’t take me long to lose interest.
