Egyptian Wilds slot review
One of Cayetano’s mobile slots is Egyptian Wilds, the developer’s attempt to get in on the Cleopatra/Book of Ra (crowded) market. And on the whole, their gatecrashing effort has been pretty successful. Even on my little Android phone the graphics and reels moved pretty smoothly, and the spin and betting buttons were big enough even for my sausage fingers.
Bet up to $100 per Spin
As for RTP it’s a little on the low side, but there is a decent range of betting ($0.10 - $100 a spin) on the game’s 10 payline (fixed), 5 reel interface. 10 paylines might not seem a lot but for a mobile slot it works just well enough without lacking depth.
The top-paying Pyramid symbol on the reels pays a nice 300x-line bet jackpot if you hit five across the reels, and at $100 a spin that’s a pretty healthy payout. Elsewhere there’s the customary Ankh and some Egyptian-themed 10-through-Ace symbols.
Earn up to 1,000x Your Bet
The Cat is the Wild and substitutes for the usual symbols other than the Bonus icons. It will also stick in place for two to six more spins whenever it appears. Five Wilds pay a juicy jackpot of 1,000x your line bet.
Hunt Tutenkhamen for Free Spins
Two Tutenkhamen Sarcophagus symbols, meanwhile, will trigger free games. That’s a really nice touch for the free spins fans among you (like me) who like to see easy-to-trigger free games. Furthermore, when Wild symbols appear during the free spins round they will stay in place for the duration of the round.
If you’re just getting into mobile slots and want to fill your Egyptian-themed thrills to your heart’s content, check out some of the other games on the market. The new Anubis Egypt-themed slot from iGaming2Go is a tasty alternative to the usual slots fare, while IGT’s more straight mobile slot of Crown of Egypt is still the go-to game for fans of Pyramids everywhere.
