Pirates’ Plenty Battle For Gold slot review

pirates plenty battle for gold slot gamePirates' Plenty Battle For Gold slot by Red Tiger is a big hitting game and those cannonballs may be a bit heavier than they were in the initial slot of the pair, Pirates' Plenty. As it's sequel season lately with Hugo's Adventure and BDBA Respins released in close succession, will we have a game superior to the first? It looks slightly different with transparent reels set over a window in the ship's treasure hold and swords clashing when the reels stop plus another aspect which may not be so desirable! So will our bankroll win the battle for these pirate's gold?

On The Reels...
At least we have a compact grid for a change from Red Tiger as Pirates' Plenty Battle For Gold slot has 20 pay lines over 5 reels of 3 rows. Symbols can appear stacked and you don't get Wilds for now, but do get scatters on all reels. Your pays for 5-of-a-kind are Skull 30x bet, Cap 9x, Cannon 7.5x, Pistols 6x, Bottle 4.5x plus four card suits paying from 45 coins down to 24 for your 20-coin bet. You can get a Wild Monkey Feature randomly appear and remove some symbols and replace them with high ones, but the game really starts with a full voyage as I'll explain.

Wild Island Row
There are non-paying Map symbols on the reels which may appear anywhere. You collect 50 to complete a voyage and open up the natural random Wilds in the base game which are a Monkey, and can multiply wins they're involved in by up to 5x. They can still appear randomly via the Monkey Feature as described above before you collect 50 maps.

Battle Spins
3 Battle Spin scatters will trigger an amount of free spins, usually at least 7. During these the Fire Away feature will occur when a Bomb lands on any position, the Pirate fires bombs from the cannon on to the grid for extra Wilds. There are cannon under and above all five reels and the balls will either stop on their way up or down the reel they are fired over creating a Sticky Wild or fall off for an extra spin. If a Sticky Wild lands over an existing one, the multiplier rises to 2x on it, maximum 5x. You cannot get the Wild Monkey feature though in the free games.

Our View...
Well, for once the sequel is better than the original and Pirates' Plenty Battle For Gold slot is a good game in my view. The random feature can pay well, but the free games are very exciting and do have some considerable potential returns although usually they pay 20-50x. The sounds and music are not tiring with good quality animations and an average 95.72% RTP. I mentioned earlier an undesirable aspect - well the base game can actually make you seasick as the game background moves around as if you really are on the ocean waves and I found it quite hard to bear. Motion sickness aside, I enjoyed my battle for the pirate's gold here and will no doubt be embarking on another voyage soon...
