The Wisecracker Lightning slot by Red Tiger is a basic game that seems to be a cross between say Starburst slot and say Barber Shop Uncut slot. The Wisecracker character has little relevance here unlike his twin on Play'n Go games such as Free Reelin' Joker slot has. A patterned red background, crisp cutting noises for reels landing and basic symbols are all we get on this apparently no-frills edition. So can this be a cracker for our bankroll or will discover it will be wise to avoid in future?
On the reels...
There are stacked symbols here and 10 pay lines over 5 reel of 3 rows on The Wisecracker Lightning slot. There are no Wilds or scatters here so basic is the operative word. The 5-of-a-kinds pay left-to-right and are 10x Wisecracker, 7.5x 7's, 5x Bells, 2.5x Stars, 1.5x Grapes, 1x Lemon and 0.5x Cherries. That's it so you must be wondering about the mechanic, surely?
Super Symbols
Each time a full stack appears which it will on every spin, a re-spin is triggered with the highest stack held as a Super Symbol (if there's more than one different symbol.) If another similar stack lands, you get another re-spin. Land it adjacent and then lightning may strike and create a multiplier up to 50x on the now colossal symbol. You then get another re-spin where the multiplier could increase again if another adjacent stack lands to make the Super Symbol bigger. You still need to get at least 3 reels from the left to be paid and often (see image) you will miss a vital reel and get nothing at all! That said, we are told 10,000x is the theoretical best win, presumably filling the reels with the Wisecracker and accruing a large multiplier on the full 5x3 colossal Super Symbol.
Our View...
The Wisecracker Lightning slot has a 95.79% RTP and isn't as bad as it may sound because even not growing the Super Symbols on the right reels, you may still link them with re-spins but not fully-stacked. You will also get any wins due accrued and paid separately for each re-spin if combinations occur during them. That said, even with a new kind of mechanic, this game is pretty boring very quickly I found, about as entertaining as Starburst slot at best although with more potential. No wisecracks from me, I'm just making this my only ever visit to this jumped-up jester...
