Triple Twister slot

The 5 reel, 50 payline slot Triple Twister contains all the traits of a classic RTG slot game - its fairly basic in terms of wins and features, it has a fun theme and occasionally delivers a big win. Like most other RTG slots, Triple Twister comes with all the similar sounds we are accustom to, with the classic ringing bell to indicate the bonus round has been triggered. During the bonus free spins you do get a sort of hoedown soundtrack which gives this slot game a nice lift it so desperately needs.

On the reels

With a Mid-West farmyard theme, it is little surprise that there are a bunch of farm animals on the reels, including cows, pigs, ducks to name a few. There are other farm yard references with farmers trucks, hay bales, wind indicators and the farmer and his wife also make an appearance. The reels spin from left to right and don't offer anything unusual. There is an option to speed up the reel spins, if you prefer to move things along a little faster.

Expanding wilds on middle reel

The bad news is that the only Wilds in Triple Twister are on the middle reel, however the good news is that when it lands it will expand over the whole reel and mutliply all winning lines by 3x. The Twister Wild does come up quite a lot, but I don't find that it pays that often.

Twisters filling reels in the bonus

The Weather Vane Scatter is an important symbol in Triple Twister, as it unlocks the big wins in the game. You need to land 3 or more Weather Vane Scatters on consecutive reels starting from the first reel on the left. This will trigger the free spins bonus round, awarding 9 free spins. The expanding wilds play a different role in the bonus, multiplying up to two times and shifting onto other reels. As I mentioned in a review on a site dedicated to Triple Twister, you really want to see the Twister Expanding Wilds going left and covering any of the first two reels. This will unlock much bigger wins in my experience. Get three stacked wild reels and you will get to sit there and watch a nice big win come in. Unfortunately this is very rare, but it does happen.

Our view...

There is nothing in Triple Twister that is going to blow you away (forgive the poor joke), but it does have a nice original theme and can deliver big wins from time to time. As I previously mentioned, it does tend to be an 'all or nothing' type of slot, given the medium volatility, so if you prefer more regular wins with lower risk then you might want to try another RTG slot Aladdin's Wishes or the IGT slot Ghostbusters.
