Poprocks slot by Yggdrasil was developed by one of their new in-house linked studios, AvatarUX. 9K Yeti slot was a good example and not a bad game at all so there's hope here indeed. On The Reels...
Like a couple of those slots above, we get 243-ways here over 5-reels and 3 rows Poprocks slot - well, it's actually 486-ways initially as it pays right-to-left too! Your winning symbols 'pop' or in other words disappear from the grid to be replaced by new ones. When they do, two are created in their place thus expanding their reel upwards and increasing the rows, therefore ways in play. The 5 reels can reach up to 7 rows high each, when a reel does this the pops only create one symbol. This means you can end up with 33,614 ways with all five full extended. That's not all as for every 7 symbols popped when they win, your multiplier increases by 1x.
Full Grid Enhancements
Should you get the grid fully expanded like this, the multiplier then increases by 2x for every 7 winning sybols popped and you will also see a random Wild added to the grid. You will also notice after winning symbols pop that sometimes a Pink Crystal is left which doesn't normally appear. This is the top pay at 100x bet for 5-of-a-kind. After this Gold, Green, Blue or Purple Dragon 10x bet appearing only after an initial win from the medium and low-paying tiles which are four gold encrusted Gems paying from 4 down to 2x bet with five card values paying 0.8 down to 0.6x bet, so that's 14 different symbols in all! Colourful, fun, exciting, absorbing to watch and a 96.40% RTP are the five positives I'll begin with here. You will get strings of dead spins as all the RTP is in the base game with no scatter-triggered feature here as it's all progressive within the spin. Your potential is getting into Dead or Alive 2 territory with a 72188x bet cited as the maximum, although that could just be a maximum during the testing procedure over billions of results, so it may be possible to exceed this figure, who knows? What I do know is that someone will be popping with ecstasy sooner or later when they hit the monster, I hope it's me for once...
