Caesars Entertainment and IGT to launch multistate progressive jackpot network in the US

Land-based casino operator Caesars Entertainment Corporation and renowned slot developer IGT have confirmed that they will be working in partnership to launch the first ever multistate progressive jackpot network in the US.

The network is set to be called Powerbucks and has been developed by IGT as an add-on for the developer’s popular MegaJackpots line. It will enhance the jackpot pool from one gaming area to the next across the US.

As part of the partnership agreement, Powerbucks will be hosted in Caesars Entertainment establishments across the US in states that have the approved gambling laws with Nevada and New Jersey set to be the first states to join the network.

Melissa Price of Caesars Entertainment said “Together, IGT and Caesars Entertainment own the legacy of creating the most millionaires in the industry; now with Powerbucks, we’re creating a whole new level of excitement around winning.”

Senior Vice President of Global Sales at IGT Eric Tom stated “We’re excited to transform the jackpot experience in partnership with Caesars Entertainment. With Powerbucks, IGT re-imagines casino gaming thrills by creating more winners, more often, across multiple states.”

Tom added “We all win when players engage more, and Powerbucks enables our customers to attract more players to casinos with the promise of more jackpots.”
