Online casino operator Mr Green announced that its revenues for the nine month period up to the end of September had enjoyed continued positive growth.
The financial results cover the period from 1st January, 2014 right through to 30th September, 2014 and will provide a confidence boost to the online casino and slots industry with revenues up across the board compared to the same period in 2013.
Overall revenues for this nine month period in 2014 for Mr Green came in at SEK484.6 million (£41.3 million) which is a staggering 39.4% increase on the same period in 2013 showing rapid growth in the space of just 12 months.
EBITDA of SEK117.9 million (£10.04 million) were recorded for the nine month period in 2014 which is a massive rise of 41.3% on the same nine month period in 2013 in one of the largest year-on-year revenue increases the industry has seen.
Financial results for the third quarter of 2014 appeared to continue the positive economic growth trend with revenues for Mr Green increasing by 35.8% on the same time last year to SEK168.5 million (£14.3 million) and EBITDA of SEK42.4 million (£4.6 million) meaning an increase of 34.5% on the same time last year.
CEO at Mr Green, Mikael Pawlo, said “The Mr Green online casino is continuing to drive its organic expansion outside the Nordic region. In the third quarter, the Nordic region accounted for 53.6 (62.9) percent of total game win. The rest of Europe accounted for 45.4 (36.6) percent of game win.”
Pawlo added “The company still has plans to expand outside the Nordic region, primarily in Europe, and therefore Austria remains an attractive market. We feel that it is strategically important that we are not solely dependent on the Nordic region or any other region.”
Mr Green recently honoured by slots developer NetEnt with its own-brand online slot called The Marvellous Mr Green, available in free play version here at Gamingslots. Click the free play tab on the game page to play.
