Scandinavian-based slots developer NetEnt is set to vamp things up for 2015 after announcing plans to release a Dracula-branded slot later this year.

The release, scheduled for April 2015, has been confirmed after NetEnt secured a licensing deal with Universal Studios. However, it has not yet been stated which instalment of the Dracula series the slot will be based on but speculation suggests it will take its inspiration from the vintage 1931 movie where actor Bela Lugosi took on the notorious role of the Transylvanian count.

NetEnt enjoyed a positive 2014 with branded slots releases as its popular Aliens slot and the atmospheric Creature From the Black Lagoon slot received favourable reviews from players and critics alike.

This coming year is anticipated to be just as busy for NetEnt with four other new slots releases already announced by the developer for 2015. The first of these releases is expected to hit the market on Thursday 22nd January, 2015 in the form of Tornado Farm Escape. The 5 reel, 20 payline slot has already had a teaser trailer released on YouTube leaving slots players on the edge of their seats.

Steam Tower is the slots title due for release in February by the developer. Not much information has been confirmed about this slot but there have been suggestions that it could have an adventure theme. The preview trailer suggests that the tower in question will play home to a dragon that the player must defeat on the way to winning big pay outs.

March will see NetEnt take on a more Latin vibe with the planned release of Spinata Grande. Asides from the obvious pun, this new slot will look to take an innovative approach to Latin-themed slots with the Mexican pinata taking centre stage. It is expected that the slot will have a strong party feel to it and players will be left shouting “Arriba!” as the reels spin.

The final slot release of 2015 announced by NetEnt thus far is the May release of Stickers. The title might have you thinking that it is a game based on those stickers children collect of sports stars or cars or toys. However, it is much more exciting than that! Rumours are circulating that the slot will see NetEnt’s Sticky Wilds play the pivotal role with the potential for them to transfer into Expanding Wilds, Random Wilds, and Walking Wilds.
