Malta-based slots developer Yggdrasil Gaming confirmed the launch of its debut progressive jackpot slot title this week.
The new slot, called Joker Millions, is scheduled for release at the end of February and will give players the chance to become instant millionaires with this first ever progressive jackpot under the Yggdrasil Gaming brand with an anticipated pay out value of €1.3 million, equivalent to $1.47 million or £970,000.
This slot comes with a range of exciting features including sticky symbols and joker symbols in a base game that is inspired by the classic “collect symbols” idea. The progressive jackpot is triggered if players are able to hit a screen full of joker symbols on all of the reels.
Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said “This is the next stage in Yggdrasil’s development. In October we released our first 3D game Reef Run and last month The Dark Joker Rizes became the first of our slots to sit on our new HTML5 framework, called iSENSE 2.0. Progressive jackpots are an excellent marketing tool for operators, but we didn’t want to make Joker Millions all about the jackpot. Most online jackpot slots are low variance, if you remove the actual jackpot from the equation, but Joker Millions also has very exciting elements in the base game.”

Yggdrasil Gaming has signed a number of supply deals over the past year with a number of casino brands including Mr Green, LeoVegas, Vera&John, and Betsson.
