Play’n GO has released Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed, a haunted-themed video slot set across rolling hills and a ghostly mansion, combining coin collection, a jackpot wheel and a guaranteed bonus mechanic.
The reels sit beneath neon lighting and a night-time sky, with a coin-hunting spirit called Wispy positioned alongside the grid to collect coins as they appear.
Wispy the Ghost
Wispy the Ghost sits at the centre of the game’s theme and features. The blue-white spirit appears beside the reels as Coin symbols, Collector symbols and jackpot markers land across the grid. The visual style is more cartoon haunting than horror, with a purple reel frame, twisted trees, cemetery fencing and the mansion forming the backdrop.
With wider series positioning still to be confirmed, Ghost Booster! GO Guaranteed is built around its connected feature set.
The game plays across five reels, four rows and 20 fixed paylines, with Coin and Collector symbols playing a central role. Coin symbols can contribute to immediate rewards and feature progression, while Collector symbols are used across several of the game’s bonus mechanics.
Jackpot feature
The Wheel of Spooks Jackpot Feature can be triggered through Wispy’s coin collection during the base game, awarding a single instant prize from a dedicated jackpot wheel. The GO Guaranteed Meter also remains active throughout base play and increases following Collector-only outcomes.
Landing six or more Coin symbols triggers the Hold & Spin bonus. If the value won during the feature finishes below the amount built up on the GO Guaranteed Meter, the reward is increased to that guaranteed minimum.
A separate progression system linked to the ghost characters adds further jackpot wheel interactions as coin-collection milestones are reached.
Magnus Wallentin, Games Ambassador at Play’n GO said:
We’ve taken slot ideas people already know and wired them together until the whole thing feels like its own game.
The guaranteed element is the part I keep coming back to – you watch that meter build through the base game, so the bonus has something behind it before it even starts. Wrap that in a haunted world with a character like Wispy leading the way, and it lands with a personality of its own across our 2026 line-up.”
