Crooked branches and pale toadstools frame the reels in Baba Yaga’s Rising, the latest release from Spinomenal. The slot draws on Slavic folklore, with Baba Yaga herself on the grid.

50 paylines
The game runs on a 5×3 grid with 50 paylines. Baba Yaga fills the wild role, standing in for everything except the bonus symbol, and five on a line pay 1,000x the bet per line. Rusalka leads the medium symbols at 500x for five, ahead of the dragon at 400x and the hut at 200x. The bonus symbol, a moon hanging behind bare branches, appears only on reels one, three and five, and only in the base game. Any part of a stacked wild landing on the middle reel triggers stacked wild rising, a run of respins in which the three-high wild climbs a row each spin until it leaves the grid, with the landing position determining whether the run lasts one respin or up to five.

Free spins
Three bonus symbols open free spins with either five or ten spins, depending on which stage comes next. A map lays out four stages, and players move along it every time they trigger the feature. Morozko opens with winning-symbol re-spins, where each new win stays locked while the rest of the grid clears and refills; respins continue until nothing new arrives, and only the last respin pays. The hut takes over for shifting wild, with a stacked wild starting on reel one and shuffling one reel to the right after every losing spin, though a win holds it in place and triggers a respin.
The dragon brings expanding wilds, turning its stacked symbol into a full-reel wild whenever it drops, and no other wilds appear during that round. Rusalka closes the journey with extra wilds, settling a sticky wild on the middle reel’s second row for the rest of the mode while between two and six single wilds scatter across the reels as they spin. Five wilds on a line pay 1,000x per line in any of these rounds.

Spinomenal CO-CEO, Omer Henya commented:
Baba Yaga has been one of our most popular characters for years, so this time we built a game where the Wild does the heavy lifting.
The rising Wild gives the base game something to chase between bonuses, and the four Free Spins modes keep players working towards the next trigger.”
