Emerald’s Infinity Reels slot summary
Emerald's Infinity Reels slot by Relax Gaming uses the ReelPlay Infinity Reels licensed mechanic. We've seen a couple already from ReelPlay themselves which are El Dorado Infinity Reels slot, the original and Odin Infinity Reels Megaways slot which uses both this license and the Megaways one! Now I must say that unlike Megaways which can be transformed into some pretty dynamic versions like Genie Jackpots Megaways slot, Infinity Reels seems restricted in versatility and scope. Here we get gentle Irish music, the inevitable green mysterious wooded background and generic Celtic symbols. No doubt a bloomin' leprechaun will appear later. Will it be a four-leaf clover or stale flat Guinness for our bankroll?
On the reels...
For those of you familiar with this mechanic, any 3-of-a-kind win on the initial 3 reels of 4 rows each will add another reel, and again if further winning symbols appear on that. There's no special prize for getting 12 reels here on Emerald's Infinity Reels slot as with the others mentioned earlier. You get paid for collecting symbols which have a fixed value multiplied by the amount collected in one spin. These pay 1x the value initially for the required 3 or more across 3 reels. Any further reels with them on then activate that value for all symbols collected in the chart to the left. So just 3 will pay 3x the value, but landing a fourth on the extra reel would then pay 4x the value. You can also land multiplier symbols which will 2x the accrued value thus far and they themselves will keep the reels going.
The values are 3x bet Leprechaun, 1.5x Beer Mug, 1x Pipe and 0.6 down to 0.4x for the 3 different Gems. Collect 3 Bonus symbols to trigger out bonus here too. These will also keep the reels going when no further winning symbols appear.

So you get 12 for lighting up the 3 bonus scatters on the chart to the left. You will get 2 extra spins for each one over the three. During these, any collected symbols are stored therefore you can increase the amount of paid symbols collected over more than one spin, unlike in the base game. You can retrigger for collecting 3 more Bonus symbols.
Our View...
I said at the beginning this mechanic is limited and this
Emerald's Infinity Reels slot proves it. You get a good 96.60% RTP but the game play gets repetitive very quickly. You do get many small to medium wins to maintain your bankroll but the feature is hard to get and is often full fo dead spins. The graphics and sounds are simply stereotypical of the Irish theme, becoming tiresome too. It will be infinity years before I come back to this game...
