Wild Flower slot by Big Time Gaming is what I would class as Danger High Voltage slot with bells on. Their other 6x4 games which are The Final Countdown slot and the hugely popular Lil' Devil slot both tip their hats to the classic DHV as regards features and general construct, but this game really does follow the formula and shows greatly improved potential. Like DHV you get Wild reels only on the middle 4 but now get 8x as well as 1x reels (as opposed to 6x) and not only that, unlike DHV you can get 4 reels of them instead of 3, so a possible 4096x multiplier whereas DHV only had 216x! This means potential base game hits of over 45,000x are possible.
Your pays though are lower as the top symbol 6-of-a-kind here is the Purple Wolf at 10x bet (DHV was Skull at 25x) then Lady 5x, Paw 2.5x, Pentagram 1.5x with six card values of 1.2 down to 0.5x for each full way of 6. Right, there are 4 possible bonus rounds here on Wild Flower slot, made of a choice of 2 with the possibility of each one triggering in enhanced mode. These are essentially the same as the rounds on DHV but have been tweaked slightly.
The Most Beautiful Thing - this is equivalent to the Gates of Hell on DHV. You get 7 spins and a card value is chosen for you to become a sticky Wild whenever it appears anywhere on the middle 4 reels. You get 3 extra spins if you fill a reel up so 19 is the maximum. Get a maximum of 16 Wilds and your multiplier is 256x for all remaining spins and well over 40,000x is possible.
Heartbeat Runs Faster - like DHV you can get a Ladder Wild reel land anywhere in the middle 4. On DHV, you had 6 rungs with 11, 22 up to 66x on them, and had 15 spins with full retriggers. Here you get 12 spins and 4 rungs of 10, 20, 40, and 80x. You get 8 extra spins for a 3-scatter to retrigger, rising by 4 spins for each scatter over the 3, so 20 is the maximum but there's no limit on retriggers.
If you trigger the feature with the Red Moon landing on reel 6 as one of the triggering scatters, you still get the choice of the 2 features mentioned, but they are enhanced as follows:
The Most Beautiful Thing (enhanced) - it's the same as above but now if a Wild lands on a position already covered by a sticky Wild, the multiplier goes to 2x from 1x. This can happen twice, so 3x is the maximum for each of the 16 positions. If you filled them all up at 3x, a theoretical multiplier of 12x is achievable on the 4 reels, making an incredible 20,736x for any spins thereafter. A yield over 114,000x has been seen in testing, although if achieved with a few spins left the maths to suggest more could occur.
Heartbeat Runs Faster (enhanced) - again, the same as above but now each time the Wild Ladder counts in a winning combination, the multipliers rise on all 4 rungs progressively. The highest top-rung multiplier is capped at 800x.
Our View of Wild Flower slot...
Wild Flower slot is simply a brilliant progression of the classic DHV slot with some insane base game and feature pays possible. The graphics may be the basic BTG style, but we have great animations, and if you like The Cult, a superb licensed soundtrack. The RTP is 96.52% which is fixed by the developer so no danger of casinos offering a reduced maths version. Those 8x Wild reels add serious heat to the base game - where else can you hit 45,000x or more without a feature? When you land 2 scatters on the lower reels, the expectation of landing the Red enhanced scatter on reel 6 in the heartstopper spin adds a new dimension too. We know those two features can pay well just from the DHV experience, but the crazy chance of 6-figures times bet via the enhancement scatter makes this Wild Flower slot something that will be surely considered special when it starts getting added to the multi-platform casinos.
