Fire Light slot review
This is Reel Power!
Fire Light is part of Aristocrat's Reel Power family of slots, where you get to choose your own range of betting. Playing reels 1 and 2 means you'll have a reel cost of 5x, while playing reels 1-5 gives you a reel cost of 30x. You calculate your total bet by multiplying the reel cost multiplier by the bet per reel. As you can imagine, this can soon add up, but hit those special features and you could be laughing all the way to the bank. This might sound slightly complex if you're not used to these sort of features in slots but it is easy enough to get to grips with so don't let it put you off playing this slot.
In terms of symbols on this Aztec/Mayan-themed slot we get an Indian chief, a wooden statue, a drum, ring and necklace. Aristocrat's customary 9-through-to-Ace icons are here too.
Trigger Multiplying Wilds
The volcano is the game's Wild, substituting for all regular symbols in the game. It only appears on reel 3 but the more you hit on the same reel, the higher your win multiplier. One Wild bags a 2x win, two Wilds 3x, and a 5x multiplier is attached to a stacked reel of three Wilds.
Win up to 12 Free Spins
Look out for the fiery phoenix birds. Those bad boys will trigger free spins for you if you land three, four or five anywhere on the reels. Depending on your triggering Scatters, you will win 6, 9 or 12 free spins. However, there's an added bonus during the feature whereby reels 1 and 2 and reels 4 and 5 pair up to become "twin" reels. This is quite a cool feature that can pay dividends if those "twin" symbols are the decent payers.
For an Aristocrat online slot Fire Light is pretty decent, and I found some good returns coming my way when adding on the Reel Power extras. However, I sometimes find that these Reel Power slots are a bit of a gimic and can put a major dent in my bankroll waiting for it to produce a big win. If you like the look of this, head for your nearest online casino offering Aristocrat slots like the horror-themed Werewolf Wild or the similar Aztec-inspired Sun and Moon slot.
