In Jazz slot summary
In Jazz slot needs no introduction to its theme as the strains of the sax, trumpet and piano immediately hit you as you open the game. The colourful Jazz Club musicians and the attractive lead vocalist in an eye-catching red dress really set the scene for this slot. Your backdrop to the game is the curtain behind the stage where these performers strut their stuff, but will this game strike a chord with you?
On the reels...
We have 25 lines here which is unusual considering the plethora of 10-line games Endorphina have released such as Diamond Vapor and Cuckoo but there are still the usual 5 reels of 3 rows each. A musical Wild symbol on all reels sets up at 100x bet for 5-of-a-kind followed by 80x for the glamorous singer in the red dress. The double bassist and sax players are next with 60x and the 50x bet for their instruments and the rest are the card values at 10 to 20x stake for the 5. The best pay though is for the 5 'In Jazz' scatters at 200x bet although you only need 3 to trigger the game's bonus.
You will get blasts of the various instruments as you land a win and a dramatic piano piece accompanies the slowed-down heartstopper spins when you have landed 2 scatters and await the third. You don't get any random in-play features but should you strum your way to the free games, they are quite good.
Finale free spins
So having earned your 10 free games, what extras do you get? Well the sax player now appears as a stacked Wild which is good as the Wilds have now disappeared from the reels. Not to be bested, the double bassist appears as a 2x stacked Wild and our glamorous lady shows us the full length of her red dress as she becomes a 3x stacked Wild. On every spin a curtain will drop over 2 reels which will lift as the spin ends to reveal 2 of these stacked Wilds thus giving you either a 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5x multiplier if both form part of a winning combination, as they add together. You can also retrigger the spins if you are fortunate.
Our View...
In Jazz slot is another theme Endorphina have chosen and done well. This Czech-based developer has shown a lot of originality with their slots and In Jazz is no different. The graphics run smoothly as do the animations whether in normal or 'turbo' mode. The sounds are well done and cleverly linked in to events on the reels. The game is a medium to high volatility and the RTP is their usual 95-96%. The free spins do have a habit of putting the 2 stacked Wild reels uselessly on 4 and 5 though, although the pays are good when they do drop. Will In Jazz be music to your ears? I think its certainly worth paying a visit to this Jazz club.
