Rockabilly Wolves slot via Microgaming was designed by Just For The Win and I wish it was never made. The polite adjectives for the appearance are juvenile, inane and ridiculous and it looks like a page from an infant's bedtime story. We do get some bizarre juxtaposed themes in the world of slot games including Leprechaun Goes Egypt by Play'n Go which is terrible, Gorilla Go Wilder by Nextgen which isn't and possibly one of the most awful slots ever, the forgettable Piggy Pirates which I'm sure Red Tiger would like to forget. So will this stupid-looking game have our bankroll dancing or like the hairstyles be a complete DA?
On The Reels...
We have 20 fixed pay lines on Rockabilly Wolves slot with symbols mainly stacked. Stacked Wilds, Purple Wolf and game logo pay 20x bet for 5-of-a-kind, 8-Ball 8x, Cherries 6x, Wolf with four card values all at 1.5x for a full line. No random modifiers but there is a Free Spins scatter on the centre 3 reels and you get a single respin if only 2 appear for a second chance. The other two symbols are Wild variants and only appear in the free games.
Free Spins
You get 9 free spins initially when those elusive 3 scatters appear. Now we can get a sticky Wild and a sticky multiplier Wild. Your triggering scatter on reel 3 only turns into a sticky 2x Wild for the duration and you start on a 2x multiplier. Any further sticky Wilds or sticky multiplier Wilds landing will increase the overall multiplier by 1x to a maximum of 6x. If you get a Wild of any type on all 4 reels aside from the centre one you began with, you get 3 extra spins. Kinda like a poor man's Dead or Alive bonus but with a fraction of the potential.
Our View...
Rockabilly Wolves slot is awful to look at and even worse to listen to with a tedious bit of rock'n roll music playing on continuous loop until it drives you to distraction. The base game can keep you afloat quite a while with regular 10 to 25x wins but the free games are disappointing despite promising much, as it's too hard to get any extra sticky Wilds aside from the one you start with. The RTP is a pretty average 96.03% and the game of low-volatility which nowadays many will feel is boring compared to other slots with far more potential. This game certainly wasn't rock'n roll for me and won't be ever...
