Wonder Woods slot summary
Wonder Woods slot by Just For The Win is Microgaming's latest attempt to release a decent slot, something which they seldom do any more. Here we get jaunty music with transparent reels over a forest background and basic fruit symbols on them. It's not as polished as Quickspin's Wild Tome of The Woods and it will never become a classic like IGT's Pixies of The Forest so I'd say it's on par with iSoftBet's equally naff Forest Mania if trees are to your liking. So will the game spruce up our bankroll or turn it into ash?
On The Reels...
We get 20 pay lines here on a 5x3 grid and symbols can appear stacked on Wonder Woods slot. There are also stacked ??? symbols which are mystery ones and reveal any tile except the scatter which is in the form of a Free Spins logo. The Wild is the top pay along with the game logo at 20x bet for 5-of-a-kind, Orange 15x, Grapes 9x, Cherries 6x with four card values paying 2 down to 1x for a full line. That's it really, bar the bonus round.
Free Games
You get 8 for 3, 10 for 4 or 12 for 5 scatters and no retriggers. The enhancement is that any Mystery Symbols landing will leave a frame on their position which is sticky so guarantees one there next spin. Fill a whole reel up and it becomes a Wild Reel for the duration. Your maximum pay is 400x bet here for a full screen of Wilds which you'll never hit, so don't get too excited about this poor bonus round.
Our View...
Wonder Woods slot has a RTP of 96.03% and that is where the positives end. It's weak on graphics, mediocre for animations and the music drove me mad after 100 spins. The feature is as about as exciting as watching the trees grow in this forest and the potential is poor anyway, not that you'll get near it. The only wonder I had about these woods is why they haven't been chopped down for a housing development...
