Royal Lotus slot summary
Royal Lotus slot, like most recent Novomatic editions, has been developed by in-house team Redline. So how is this going to compare to others by these, such as Dragon Warrior and The Almighty Reels slots Poseidon and Persephone which haven't proved to be terribly popular. We begin with a Chinese theme and the reels set over a lovely green temple garden with no music as we spin, only the trademark Novo trotting sounds as the reels stop, punctuated by dramatic cymbal clashes for wins. Other than this the game looks quite plain overall, but can this Royal Lotus flower make our bankroll bloom too?
On The Reels...
We have 5 reels of 4 rows each on Royal Lotus slot, which tells us we're likely to have many paying lines, which indeed we do as there's 50 for which we pay 50 coins to spin. All the icons are single though, aside from the Empress who is stacked to possibly fill all 4 rows and is our top 5-of-a-kind pay at 20x bet. The Jewel Chest or Token Bag pays 10x, Swords or fan 8x with six card values paying 8x too for A or K and 4x for Q down to 9. Our View...
Royal Lotus slot is mediocre to say the least, but not terrible. The RTP is the usual Novo 95% and it doesn't look and sound too bad either, it's just exceedingly unexciting to wait ages for a feature trigger with the end result invariably disappointing. If the free games were designed to replicate the building tension of the Sofia Playboy free games as mentioned above, they certainly haven't. It's simply average in every way and in an average session on the slots I would find a more exciting destination for my money...
