The Real King Aloha Hawaii slot's name will probably make you think of a misspell if you recall their 'Reel King' slots based on the old UK AWP games found in arcades. Let me tell you it's just Greentube's punnery here and in fact it refers to the 'King' himself Elvis Presley and concert he played in January 1973 in Honolulu which was famously broadcast live via satellite. There was actually an album released of the same name afterwards (minus the 'real king' bit) so there's how we get our theme here. There have been numerous other Elvis slots such as WMS' Elvis The King Lives and my favourite IGT's A Little More Action but this game has basic graphics and Novomatic's trotting sounds remain over a Hawaiian folksy soundtrack and we get no Elvis songs at all, only an image on the reels. So will Aloha Hawaii leave you All Shook Up or will it be a case of I Got Lucky?

As with most Novomatic slots they keep things simple and we see the standard 5 reels of 3 rows each and just the one feature round, which you can usually count on to be quite volatile especially on a 10-liner such The Real King Aloha Hawaii. The Guitar or Drums award 75x, the Leaf 40x and either Flower is 25x. The 2x Wilds mean any of those 5-of-a-kind pays listed above can effectively be multiplied 6x except the 900x for 5 Wilds which would be tripled.
Our View...
Sometimes simple works and it does here on The Real King Aloha Hawaii slot albeit in a quite volatile format. The RTP is pretty usual for most Novomatic's at 95% and as stated previously the sounds and graphics are typical 'no frills Novo' as I tend to label them. As with games like Book of Ra the RTP is heavily weighted towards the free spins so if those Sunsets aren't coming in, you can experience a pretty brutal session here. I could quite easily find myself saying 'Aloha!' to Elvis again, but only if I'm feeling brave...
