Honey Honey Honey slot review
Honey Honey Honey slot by Pragmatic Play has brought me out in hives, or should I say brought me into the world of hives as we delve into the world of bees. This weird theme isn't a first as you'll know if you have ever played Netent's dreary Sweety Honey Fruity or Microgaming's even worse Pollen Party which came years after the best of a bad lot, Pollen Nation. We get transparent reels over a cartoon countryside background and even more juvenile symbols on them along with childish music as we spin, so really not a great start. So can Honey Honey Honey bring money, money, money to our bankroll?
On The Reels...
We get 20 lines on Honey Honey Honey slot with the best non-wild symbol paying 20x bet for 5-of-a-kind which is the Logo and can appear stacked. The other symbols are single and you get 25x for Wild Worker Bee, 15x Honey Jar, 10x for either Flower and 7.5x or 5x for the five card values. Hives appear on the odd reels to trigger our feature but first let's check out the modifiers these busy bees can bring.
The hive may swarm by the right of the reels and you pick from 3 bees to get one of these:
Honey Wilds - 5 to 10 randomly-placed Wilds added to the grid.
Sticky Streak - a random 3-of-a-kind win appears and holds while the other tiles respin, this continues until no more of that symbol lands, then you are paid.
Win Spin - a win of at least 30x bet spins in.
5-of-a-kind - yes, a 5OAK win will spin in of a random symbol.
Free Spins - a guaranteed trigger for the bonus.
The Hives need to land on reels 1,3 and 5 to trigger these. You can choose one of two options.
Sticky Streak Spins - same as the modifier above but you get a Wild reel in the centre to help you and you cannot retrigger it.
Honey Queen Colossal Spins - 5 spins which again cannot retrigger but you can get 2x2 or 3x3 symbols land with a random 2x multiplier possibly applied to any winning spins.
Honey Honey Honey slot appears to be Pragmatic Play copying Blueprint's Classic 20-line format that they use on numerous games such as Ted and King Kong Cash. So there's nothing new to see here although despite the silly appearance the game mechanic is OK as is the decent 96.50% RTP. You can get good wins in the base game of this supposedly medium-high volatility slot via the regular random features but the free games are where any big wins are at, if you can trigger them. I wouldn't say I'm sweet on this game, in fact I was a bit jarred off after 30 minutes of play...
