Doggy Riches Megaways slot review

doggy riches megaways slot gameDoggy Riches Megaways slot by Red Tiger is not based on Dynamite Riches Megaways and nor does it resemble another with a similar sounding name, Piggy Riches Megaways. It's a unique mechanic and game with cuddly little Corgis but not the Queen's! A cartoon representation of them as with the various breeds of canines on Pragmatic Play’s The Dog House Megaways is what we get. The game does have some royal connection though so is set over a luxurious velvety room with some daft sounds and soft music to play to. So can it be a barking mad earner for our bankroll or will it be a case of the poop scoop for our pennies?

On the reels...
We see 2-7 rows for each of the 6 reels with single and stacked symbols and cascades to replace the winning ones on Doggy Riches Megaways. This means 64-117649 ways to win as there's no top scroll of 4 individual tiles here. Your 6-of-a-kind pays are 3x Crown, Hearts 1.4x, Notes 1.2x, Tea Cup 1x, Gloves 0.8x with four card suits of 0.7 down to 0.4x. No scatters here but you get two Wilds - a Corgi King full-reel Wild with a 2x multiplier on reel 2 and a Corgi Queen one the same on reel 5. There's no modifiers but we do get a fun bonus round.

Free Games
When you land the King Corgi 2x Wild on reel 2 and the Queen Corgi 2x Wild on reel 5 during the same spin, you trigger the 10 free games of Doggy Riches Megaways. The two 2x Wild reels remain sticky for the duration and there’s no retriggers or extra spins possible. You get an increasing multiplier by 1x for every winning action. The second enhancement is random when the King and Queen Corgis blow kisses at each other: then you get 2-5 single Baby Corgi Wilds placed on reels 3 and 4 and this can earn some big hits as you might imagine if Wilds are present on the middle 4 reels! We are told 3494x is the best win in testing, so not as much potential as many Megaways games but at least you can see some it here.

Our View...
Doggy Riches Megaways slot has a 95.70% RTP and for a quite juvenile subject doesn't look too bad and isn't overall a childish game. The low symbol pays mean little potential in the base game and it is really all about the free games which don't some in that often. When they do they are good to have as the wins come easily thanks to the Wild reel 2 so the multiplier tends to rise quickly. When it has, and you link up wins across 5 or 6 reels hopefully helped by Baby Corgis, expect some good returns. This slot may not be one you'd slip your lead to walk away from...
