Dragon's Luck Megaways slot by Red Tiger is based on one of their original standard slots, Dragon's Luck. In fact this is the third slot in the series as after the original mentioned, Red Tiger released Dragon's Luck Stacks, not to be confused with Dragon's Fire or even Dragon's Fire Megaways - they like their dragon themes at this developer! The game has the reels set in a pagoda over a mountainous background with snippets of Oriental music as the game plays and the reels stop or award a win. On the reels...
Dragon's Luck Megaways slot is slightly different to most Megaways games in that the 6 reels of 2-7 rows each that produce 64-117,649 ways to win don't act separately. In other words, they will all be uniform and display the same rows each, whether 2, 5 or all 7 rows. The 6-of-a-kind pays are 38x bet for the 138 symbol, 3.8x Doll, 2.5x Fish, 2x Lotus Flower and five card values paying from 1x down to 0.5x for a full way. The pays here are also adjacent reels on any 3 or more consecutive and you get Mystery Coin symbols which reveal the same icon, and they like all the rest can appear stacked.
Modifiers
After the Mystery Symbol is revealed from under the coins, the Dragons beside the reels may breathe fire onto the result and upgrade the symbol or win. You can also get Mega Coins land which are simply 2x2, 3x3 or even 4x4 block Mystery Symbols and likewise, the Dragon could randomly act on them afterwards. That's it, no Wilds or scatters or bonus rounds!
Our View...
Red Tiger certainly kept to the original here with Dragon's Luck Megaways slot and kept it simple. So that's all it is really, set the autoplay and spin like you would with say Starburst or other low-tech slot games. The RTP is 95.69% and the symbols, animations and sounds are pretty low-grade too, but there is the potential for a top pay of 10,368x bet if you had that one-in-a-billion spin. I can't say I'd ever play this again because there is much better out there, but these Megaways could pay you well if the luck of the dragon is with you...
