Tiki Fruits Totem Frenzy slot by Red Tiger is a sequel to Tiki Fruits slot, a pretty mediocre cluster-pay game. We have the same theme here naturally with totem poles by the grid, daft noises and Hawaiian music to play to as befits the original. At least the fruits look slightly different this time but I doubt we will have the potential here of Blueprint's Tiki Treasures Megaways slot, probably about on par with Netent's Aloha! Cluster Pays slot. So can we get some tropical treats here for our bankroll or will it be a fruitless quest?
On the grid...
A simple grid of 7 columns of 9 tiles each with individual symbols makes up the basic Tiki Fruits Totem Frenzy slot. You need adjacent clusters of 5+ symbols to win with replacements tumbling from above when you win. The pays are 25+ symbols highest and 5 lowest and are 777x/2x bet for 7's, 125/1x Diamonds, 100/0.8x Bells, 75/0.5x Bells, 50/0.4x Dice with 5 fruit symbols paying 16/0.3 down to 8/0.1 for the max and minimums respectively.
Modifiers
You get a couple of random interventions sometimes from the Totems at the sides which are clearing the grid for another chance to win or removing all of one symbol. These can happen more than once in a play or both together! Wilds are sticky here and are always present on the grid as Masks near the four corners but you need to wake them up! You do this by landing any winning cluster adjacent to them and after this they will count in clusters themselves.
Tiki Spins
You need to wake up all 4 Wild positions in one play to initiate the Tiki Spins. There is a random final Mask activation sometimes if your play ends with just 3/4 Masks awakened. You get 10, but you may be awarded 5 more if the large mask randomly gives them after the trigger. The Wild Masks remain activated for the round. You can now remove the 5 low symbols from the game in order by collecting 35 of them and filling their respective meters up. No retriggers or extra spins though.
Our View...
Tiki Fruits Totem Frenzy slot has a 95.71% RTP and is pretty dull most of the time despite the jaunty music and bright colours. That's because the win frequency is quite low due the average pay per winning spin which will usually involve a Wild or two. The random modifiers don't do a lot and the free spins are fun if they go well but we don't have a huge potential here, just over 3,300x we are told in the rules. This is one cocktail I won't rush to drink again...
