The Great Pigsby Megapays slot by Relax Gaming is a Megaways too but I guess they couldn't name it 'The Great Pigsby Megaways Megapays'! We have 6 reels of 2-7 rows each on The Great Pigsby Megapays slot thus 64-117649 ways to win per spin. Our 6-of-a-kind pays are very low due to a multiplier Wild reels mechanic with the Pigsby top at 3x bet, Missy Piggy 2x, Ring 1x, Gramophone 0.8x, Cigar 0.5x with five card values all at 0.4x. Winning tiles are not replaced via tumbles and expanding Wilds can appear on reels 2 to 6, then awarding a multiplier of however many rows the reel has so 2 to 7x is possible with them multiplying each other. Any Wild will add a coin to the Piggy Bank above the reels and can randomly trigger a modifier. There's the Pigsby re-spin which adds 3-9 of the top symbol to the reels before they stop and a Wild re-spin which adds 2 to 5 wild reels with 2 to 7x multiplier possible on each.

There's no scatters so these can only be triggered randomly by the Piggy Bank the same as the other two modifiers described above. Initially 10 spins are given and each scatter appearing in them adds +2 spins, also removing a card value beginning at 10 then sequentially to A. They will be marked with a red 'x' when eliminated and from then on they will transform into one of the picture symbols. If you remove all five cards the scatter thereafter only gives +2 spins. There's no modifiers or Wilds in the bonus though. The crossed card values will transform into picture symbols individually so not all red 'x' will reveal the same one, although they can hopefully! The maximum win is capped on The Great Pigsby Megapays at 20,000x bet.
Megapays Progressive Jackpots
There are 4 tiers seeded at 100, 1,500, 20,000 and 300,000 for the mini, minor, major and mega respectively. Randomly at any time you might trigger a set of BTG max Megaways reels. A card value symbol from 9-A is revealed on a spinner. You need to land certain quantities of that symbol to climb a jackpot ladder on the left of the grid - collect 4 to 7 for MINI Jackpot, 8 to 11 for MIDI Jackpot, 12 to 14 for MAJOR Jackpot and 15 or more for MEGA Jackpot! No other wins can occur during this Megapays Progressive Feature. The RTP is 96.19% and that includes the overall 9.44% progressive contribution but in reality you pay 5.10% per spin towards it as the rest of the 9.44% is seeding.
Our View...
The Great Pigsby Megapays slot isn't bad to play in all fairness. The game is pleasant to play both aesthetically and for the sounds and animations. The Wild reels can via the modifier can lead to some substantial but rare wins in the base game plus the free games aren't hard to get. The jackpot game occurs more frequently the more you stake so just put it out of your mind and hope for the best. The free spins bonus is quite good and can pay very well although early scatters for symbol elimination and their extra spins will be the sign to look out for. This means it can pay some real stinkers as it's very volatile though, something to bear in mind. You may just find you get a silk purse from the Pigsby's ear...
