Bruce Lee slot review
There are very few people quite so well known around the world as martial arts superstar Bruce Lee. Several slots players will have come across games bearing his name or image in casinos. The legacy of this oriental star continues with an online version of Bruce Lee, launched by WMS. This is not the same as the version you will find in a casino, which can be found online as Game of Dragons 2. Unfortunately for US players, WMS slots are currently unavailable to play if you are based in the US due to online gaming restrictions.
Bruce Lee is part of the WMS 'Money Burst' slot games and has a total of 60 paylines. This makes it a fairly low volatility slot, which might put a few players off. The first two reels only have two symbols each, whereas reels 3, 4 and 5 have four symbols. This is compensated by stacked wilds on the these three bigger reels, which play a big part in the free spins bonus.
According to the pay out explanation page there are three ways to trigger the bonus round, but I have only ever seen two of them. Land a matching symbol on all four positions on the first 2 reels and you will be awarded 5 free spins and the first 2 reels will be held throughout. The other way I have seen it triggered is by landing three treasure chests on reels 3, 4 and 5. This also gives you 5 free spins with an added wild reel on each spin. I believe the other method of triggering 20 free spins is a combination of the two methods just described. Almost impossible to achieve of as far as I can make out.
From my experience, the bonus rounds are best the way to get some decent wins in Bruce Lee, but some players may have had different experiences.
For a low volatility slot Bruce Lee is definitely a lot of fun. I don’t think it quite takes the place of my other favorite WMS slots such as 'God of Thunder slot' Zeus and the fairytail-themed Wizard of Oz, but it is a game that I could play for quite a while and not get bored.
