Stable girl wins £238,165 on Leprechaun’s Luck with 20p bet
A stable girl was celebrating a stroke of fortune this week after she hit a £238,165 jackpot on the Irish-themed Leprechaun’s Luck slot at William Hill with just a 20p bet.
Olesia Kuzmychova, 29, decided to place the 20p bet on the Irish slot from online slot developer Ash Gaming “for a bit of fun” and managed to trigger the progressive jackpot linked to the game to seal a six figure jackpot fortune.
Kuzmychova spoke to a national tabloid saying “I came back from work at the stables around midday and was feeling bored. I’d had a hard day and decided to have one 20 pence bet on the game – I never expected to win anything big.”
She added “The next thing I know I hit the jackpot. I was shouting and jumping and screaming like crazy. This has completely changed my life. I wake up in the morning and think it is a dream – then realize it is reality.”
Kuzmychova, from Newmarket in Suffolk, decided to ditch her £290 per week stable girl job and plans to return to Ukraine to visit her family and press ahead with wedding plans.
William Hill spokesperson Jem Maidment stated “We are absolutely thrilled for Olesia. It is a life changing win and all for the princely sum of 20 pence.”
