Online slot developer Playtech announced that it agreed a content supply deal with Holland Casino in anticipation of new online gambling laws being introduced in the Netherlands.
The landmark agreement will see Holland Casino have the opportunity to offer Playtech games and slots such as the superhero-themed Captain America slot and the widely popular Gladiator slot when new online gaming regulations are brought into play across the country.
The deal is being labelled as one of the biggest in the history of the European online gaming market with Playtech being one of the biggest online software developers in the world and Holland Casino holding a leading position within the Dutch gambling market.
Due to its status as the largest Dutch gambling operator, it is fully expected that Holland Casino is in a prime position to benefit the most from the new online gaming regulations that are set to be introduced.
It is anticipated that online gambling will become fully introduced and regulated in the Netherlands by January 2015 and a number of large online gaming firms are now battling it out to secure partnership deals with the biggest companies currently operating in the Dutch gambling market.
