NetEnt set to release Blood Suckers slot on mobile platform

Scandinavian-based slot developer NetEnt has announced that it is set to release a mobile version of its popular online slot Blood Suckers.

Blood Suckers Touch will join a number of NetEnt-developed slots such as the recently released Lights slot and the hauntingly Gothic Frankenstein slot in being converted from the online platform onto the Touch mobile platform.

The 5 reel, 25 pay-line vampire-themed slot was initially released back in 2009 and has been a highlight of NetEnt’s online slots portfolio ever since. It still attracts thousands of players to play its reels and its release on the mobile platform is being hotly anticipated due to its high volatility.

Its transition to the mobile platform comes at a time when NetEnt is looking to take advantage of the success its series of Touch slots are currently enjoying and it is hoped that the release of Blood Suckers Touch will only improve mobile revenues.

A NetEnt statement read “Revenues from NetEnt’s mobile games have continued to show positive development, now representing 13 percent of the gross gaming yield in the NetEnt’s casino. Live Casino has also developed positively during the quarter and we had a total of 27 customers launched by the end of June compared to 18 launched customers at the end of March.”

Blood Suckers Touch is scheduled for release on Thursday 21st August, 2014.
