Betsoft Gaming loses Alderney gaming licence

3D slot developer Betsoft Gaming has had its online gaming license revoked by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission this week.

The news came with little explanation or reason after it was confirmed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. Details are still scarce on exactly why Betsoft Gaming has lost its license with the regulator.

It was only a couple of months ago that the Alderney Gambling Control Commission suspended and then removed the license of slot developer Sheriff Gaming after its parent company was involved in legal action in the Netherlands.

Alderney Gambling Control Commission Executive Director Andre Wilsenach confirmed the action against Betsoft Gaming but would not be drawn into details regarding why the action had been taken.

There has been speculation linking the license suspension to the fact that Wilsenach has previously stated that Betsoft Gaming’s parent firm Digitus should not be allowed to hold a license with the Alderney Gambling Control Commission but the reasons behind these comments have not been revealed.

Betsoft Gaming has created a reputation for itself as one of the most creative slots developers on the market having released a number of top slots titles including the fun and bubbly SugarPop slot and the recently released Fruit Zen slot.
