Globally renowned slots developer WMS Gaming is set to take over the Monopoly slots licensing deal from IGT this month and will celebrate the move with two new releases.
The developer, a subsidiary of Scientific Games, will launch Super Monopoly Money later this month with a second Monopoly brand slot in the form Monopoly Big Event scheduled for release during the first quarter of 2015.
There is particular excitement surrounding the second of those two slots releases with Monopoly Big Event already proving to be a big hit on the land-based casino floors across the world, particularly in the US.
IGT had experienced a large amount of success with its vision of the Monopoly slots brand. Slots that were added to the developer’s Monopoly slots portfolio included the critically-acclaimed Monopoly Here and Now and the equally prolific Monopoly Pass Go.
WMS Gaming has an established track record as being one of the most innovative developers on the market with recent titles in the developer’s stable including the 6 reel behemoth Raging Rhino and the nautical-themed Nemo’s Voyage.
Further information regarding the new WMS Gaming-developed Monopoly slots is expected to become available in the coming days with the first slot due for release before the end of January.
