The Swedish slot gaming giant NetEnt has released a short teaser video via their Youtube channel with a big new slot announcement due on 17th January 2018. The video, which is only 22 seconds long has very little detail, other than the head of a Lion appearing from a shadowy background.
Early speculations on forums is that the new game release could be a sequel to Jungle Spirit Call of The Wild, due to a similar font being used in the teaser trailer. However, it is well known that Lions don’t typically live in jungles, so this would likely create all sorts of renaming issues.
The new release arrives just before the largest European casino gathering in the calendar, The International Casino Expo (ICE), taking place at ExCeL in London, UK in early February. In previous years NetEnt has used this show to announce big new releases, such as the announcement of a Guns ‘N’ Roses slot game in February 2015.
Other developers have already started to release details of their big slot game releases in advance of ICE, with Playtech adding Batman Begins and Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice onto their demo casino.
