Scandinavian-based slots developer NetEnt stole the headlines at this week’s ICE exhibition at the ExCeL Arena in London by announcing they will be releasing a Guns N’ Roses rock-themed slot.
Guns N’ Roses are one of the biggest rock bands to have hit the charts led by singer Axl Rose with lead guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, and drummer Steven Adler forming the original line up that was formed in Los Angeles back in 1985.
The band gained a reputation for living the notorious sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle and enjoyed a prolonged period of success in the charts with hit records including “Appetite for Destruction”, “Use Your Illusion I and II”, and “The Spaghetti Incident?” producing well-known single such as “Welcome to the Jungle”, “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, and “November Rain”.
Specific details regarding the Guns N’ Roses slot have yet to be confirmed but the slot has been made possible after NetEnt secured licensing deals with Universal Music Group and Geffen Records.
NetEnt has already enjoyed a large amount of success with branded slots including its cartoon-based South Park slot and its eerie Aliens slot. The developer will be hoping this new slot can follow in the footsteps of another epic rock-themed slot in the shape of WMS Gaming’s Kiss – Shout It Out Loud slot.
