Rome and Egypt slot summary

The name is the giveaway in this 5 reel, 40 payline slot. Rome and Egypt brings together the Roman era and the historical Egypt in one game. It could be argued that this is not blending themes at all and merely taking inspiration from the classic William Shakespeare story of Antony and Cleopatra. However, if you are not a fan of the classics then you may feel this is quite literally putting something as different as chalk and cheese together and hoping to produce a top slot....hmmm, not sure about that one.
The Symbols
Rome and Egypt has a mixture of symbols on the reels to cover the two themes. There is a pharaoh's hat, Caesar's wreath, pyramids, a Sphinx, a coliseum, a Roman temple, a Roman sword and shield, and an Egyptian whip and cane.

Rome and Egypt is not one of WMS Gaming's most ground-breaking slots. The Antony and Cleopatra Stacked Wilds are at the centre of everything and it sort of feels like WMS could not be bothered to distribute the responsibility of triggering bonus features to other symbols. That said, the potential to trigger 50 free spins with Stacked Wilds on the reels and all wins subjected to a 2x multiplier means that at the very least this is a fun slot. More a short term toy than a long term classic.
