Zeus God of Thunder slot, well let's just say WMS love their Zeus theme games, as this is their fourth online slot featuring this mythical god. It joins Zeus, Zeus 3 and Zeus 1000 in their catalogue. The reels sit over a background of turbulent storm clouds and we hear portentous classical music while we spin and when in pause mode thunder and lightning effects remind us of the power of this Greek God. On the reels...
We have five reels of four rows each and for this format quite a low number of paying lines, only 30. You pay 50 coins but can opt to use the 'Extra Bet' and pay 75 coins per spin. This will add enhancements to any features you attain during the game as we will discover.
The icons are all single bar the Zeus symbol which appears fully stacked on all reels and is the best pay at 5x your basic 50-coin bet for a full 5-of-a-kind. The Eagle pays 2x as does the Lion, Lightning 1.5x as do the Wreath and Vase with the four card values paying 1x for a full 5. Single Wilds appear on the centre three reels and will double any win they are involved with.
Zeus's wheel
Now oddly all features and jackpots are triggered randomly here. There are 5 jackpots which appear on the upper right of the screen and 3 Wheels which are above reel set. On any spin you may hear thunder and lightning and the reels will turn a dark blue and some symbols will get a lightning background. The reels stop and if you should have 3, 4 or 5 of these overlays adjacent on any row you will spin either the 3, 4 or 5-in-a-row wheel above the game.
3-in-a-row awards - this wheel will either upgrade you to the next 4-in-a-row wheel, award 4 or 5 (5/6) random Wilds to be placed over the centre 3 reels or the Mini or Minor jackpot and lastly 5 or 7 (7/10) free games.
4-in-a-row awards - this wheel will either upgrade you to the next 5-in-a-row wheel, award 5 or 6 (6/7) random Wilds to be placed over the centre 3 reels or the Minor or Major jackpot and lastly 10 or 12 (12/15) free games.
5-in-a-row awards - this wheel will either award 6 to 12 (7 to 12) random Wilds to be placed over the centre 3 reels or the Mini or Minor jackpot, 15, 20 or 50 (20/50/100) free games or lastly the Major, Mega or Grand jackpot.
The figures in brackets denote the enhancements mentioned above if you up your stake by 50% and play 75 coins per spin.

Our View...
Zeus God of Thunder slot is a breath of fresh air with its unique design, great graphics, animations and sound effects. You'll only see 150x bet for a full screen of Zeus so you'll never get rich from the base game but the random trigger occurs very frequently, but obviously it may not enable a spin of any Zeus Wheel if it fails to place the highlighted icons in a row of three or more. You do have the chance of some big pays from the jackpots in the game and should you trigger the free games on the 5-in-a-row Wheel you will accumulate a nice amount by the end. The final and very welcome point is that the 96.05% RTP is exactly the same whether you choose to play the Extra Bet or not, unlike some of those Barcrest Big Bet games such as Monopoly Bring The House Down! Zeus God of Thunder may create a lot of flashing and banging, but you've nothing to hide from here...
