Cash O Matic slot summary
Cash o Matic slot by Netent has a retro look about it but I can assure you a very modern mechanic which uses some elements of the Megaways bonus round and symbol replacement. You get plain grey leatherette reels and some corny oompah music as your soundtrack here with equally basic symbols but it's a decent game when it gets going, which may take a while as we'll see. The gem-based symbols are like those of Dazzle Me, Starburst or Joker Pro but this game has far more potential, so it seems. So will Cash o Matic prove to be exactly that for our bankroll, or bust o matic?
On The Reels...
We have 5 reels of 4 rows each here and this is Netent's first ever 1024-way slot as far as I can recall. You pay 20 coins to play and winning symbols remain on the grid, falling to the bottom, and you get respins until no more winning ways are added to by the replacement symbols dropping down. There are no Wilds here and our best pay is the Red Star Gem at 20x bet for 5-of-a-kind, then 8x Yellow or Green, 7x Blue or Purple with either 5 or 4x for the five card values. Scatters do appear stacked and will descend when appearing and count up as they do, which is just as well as you need 10 or more accumulated for the bonus.
Multipliers
Each time you fill a whole row of 5 symbols at the bottom of the grid you will climb up the multiplier scale on the left of the reels. One row is just 1x, 2 rows 2x, 3 rows 4x and a screen full pays 10x which happens when you fill all 4 rows up, although this can consist of more than one kind of symbol. Now we can see the huge win potential we have here, if you imagine 1024 ways of a symbol paying 10x!
Free Games
You need to accumulate 10 or more scatters for these, and you get one spin per triggering scatter and no retriggers. You will get an extra spin for each row you fill though, and the enhancement is increased multipliers. Your 1,2,4 or 10x becomes doubled to 2,4,8 and 20x for a trigger of 10 to 14 scatters, for 15 to 19 the base values are tripled and are quintupled for a trigger of 20 scatters or more. This means you could be playing for a screen full of symbols at 50x, a monstrous potential win!
Our View...
Theoretically you could win over 1 million x bet for a full screen of top symbol with the best free games multiplier on Cash o Matic slot but I doubt that would be in the pays anywhere, let it suffice to say there is some big potential here. The graphics, sounds and animations are pretty basic for Netent and the RTP a solid 96.33% too, but be aware due to the mechanic the win frequency isn't that high so lots of dead spins plus the free games aren't easy to trigger. I would like to play Cash o Matic again, but be warned, it's certainly not cash machine...
