Online casino slot developer Microgaming announced that it had secured the rights to the online slots license for the hit movie Terminator 2.
Terminator 2 was released back in 1991 and was directed by James Cameron starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The movie made over $500 million in box office sales, won four Oscars and has gone down as one of the greatest movies of all time.
The licensing deal now paves the way for Microgaming to release an online slot based on the movie later this year. The developer already has a proven track record with releasing top movie-themed slot titles with the epic The Dark Knight slot and its emphatic sequel The Dark Knight Rises slot both proving popular with slots players across the world.
It is expected that the new Terminator 2 slot will give players the chance to win big prizes with some exciting bonus features including some recognizable characters as the symbols such as the T-800 and the T-1000.
Chief Executive for Microgaming Roger Raatgever said “As explosive as the film, we are in the process of creating an action-packed, jaw-dropping slot; it’s a classic in the making.”
