Night of Sevens slot is extremely unusual for this developer, not because it has an Oriental theme (we've seen that many a time with Genesis Gaming including Rich Panda and Lion Dance Festival) but it only has 5 pay lines! Usually we see 243 ways or 40-lines from them so this is a novel change and looks fantastic too, with transparent reels over a spectacular starscape and soothing Eastern music in the background. With the number 8 being considered lucky in China, how we will fare with these sevens?

Our 5 lines pay both ways here and are over the normal 5 reels and 3 rows. One could reasonably expect some volatility with only 5 paying lines, so it's rather odd we must pay 25 coins to play at the lowest amount of 1c per line. Zhi Nu pays 20x for a 5-of-a-kind win, the Niu Lang 18x and the Queen Of The Heavens 16x, the Water Buffalo 14x and the Hairpin 12x. No card values here as we then see the Lanterns at 10x, Musical Pipes and Lotus Flower at 6x and finally the spool of Silk at 4x for a full line. You have the number 7 carved in wood as a Chinese character as scatters which simply pay small cash awards for three or more in view. The final icon is the Magpie Wild and three or more in view will actually award the bonus round as well as substituting for the rest.

Now after the three lucky Magpies have appeared, you will get taken to a screen whereby you select a tiding of Magpies (yes, a new collective noun we've learned today!). This will reveal 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 free spins. You then select a flower which will award 2, 3, 4 or 5 extra Wild symbols for the duration of the spins. These are given from the highest first, so if you selected 2 you would be given Zhi Nu and Niu Lang then the Queen of The Heavens, the Water Buffalo and lastly the Hairpin. Night of Sevens slot is undeniably a great looking game and the RTP is equally good at a huge 97.26%. Somehow Genesis Gaming have managed to make a lowish volatility 5-line game which is unusual, Merkur's Knight's Life it certainly ain't! Now 20x bet for the best 5-reel win isn't huge so it's a good job the free games are easy to trigger, although most times it will give you 5 spins and just 2 or 3 extra Wilds, but retriggers are common and should you ever see the 20 or 25 spins with 4 or 5 extra Wilds you'll rack up a decent amount for sure. I would recommend you have a play on this and see if those sevens are lucky for you too...
