100 Ladies slot summary
In June 2014, I reviewed an IGT slot called In Bloom and I questioned what was going on at the developer and who was supplying the creative team with oestrogen supplements because things had suddenly become a bit feminine with their releases.
Now, there's nothing wrong with that. IGT are entitled to release any kind of slot they wanted but I would be asking the same questions if a developer was releasing overtly masculine slots and suggesting that somebody was dishing out the steroid portions!
100 Pay-Lines... One for Each Lady!
100 Ladies is the latest release from IGT that has 5 reels and 100 paylines with an added sense that it is aimed at the females. The theme revolves around ladybirds and the symbols on the reels consist of different variations of ladybird. There's even a male ladybird in there who surely has identity issues! There are also the regular 9-through-to-Ace symbols that are displayed in different vibrant colours.
There's Stacked Wilds!
The Wild is represented by the collection of ladybirds and it substitutes for all other symbols, except for the Bonus Scatter symbols, to complete winning combinations and give you some lovely pay outs. It should also be noted that the Wilds on this slot act as Stacked Wilds so you can really earn some big pay outs.
Earn 10 Free Spins with a 10x Multiplier
The Bonus Scatters are the key to triggering the free spins bonus round and if you hit three or more of these across the reels then you will trigger 10 free spins. Any pay outs you earn during the free spins bonus round will be awarded with a 10x multiplier value so that can prove to be very lucrative. The free spins can also be re-triggered if you hit the three or more Bonus Scatters across the reels during the free spins bonus round.
Our View...
100 Ladies clearly takes inspiration from a couple of previous IGT slots. It has a very similar name to the popular 100 Pandas slot and its theme is certainly inspired by IGT's iconic slot Lil' Lady. I'm always a bit cautious with slots that are overly feminine but I have to say that I did enjoy this. It could have done with a Pick' em Bonus or more interactive bonus feature but it has 100 pay-lines, Stacked Wilds and huge multipliers. I would probably sound spoilt if I didn't enjoy this slot!
