If anything, I am giving the developer and this slot a compliment. It shows that the developer isn't afraid to evolve and venture away from the party line to produce new and more innovative releases.
The slot is based on the legend of Robin Hood who, according to myth, would steal from the rich to give to the poor. In this scenario, he steals from the machine and gives to us, the players. What are they trying to insinuate?!
The Symbols
Anyway, symbols on the reels are all you might expect from a Robin Hood slot. We have the hero himself, his love interest Maid Marian, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, the seemingly boozed up Friar Tuck, John Little aka Little John, a Wanted Dead or Alive poster, a pot of gold, and the regular Jack-through-to-Ace symbols.
Earn Wins with the Wild
The Wild is symbol is on the reels and easy to distinguish. It substitutes for all other symbols, except for the Bonus Scatters, to help complete any potential winning combinations that might appear across the reels.

The Bonus Scatters play a pivotal role on this slot by triggering the free spins bonus round interestingly named the Scatter Frenzy Free Spins Bonus. If you hit three Bonus symbols across the reels you will earn 10 free spins. If you hit four Bonus symbols you will receive 15 free spins. Then if you are fortunate enough to hit five Bonus symbols you will be awarded with 20 free spins. Before the free spins begin, you will be asked to choose a Mystery Scatter Bonus symbol. Unfortunately, this does not change the volume of the symbols and is purely for graphical reasons... which is disappointing.

Robin Hood – Riches of Sherwood Forest is a slot that offers the good and the bad of Incredible Technologies. The Scatter Frenzy Free Spins Bonus is one of the more spectacular bonus features I've had the pleasure of playing. However, on the flip side, that is about as impressive as the slot gets. The Jumbo Stacks are pointless if I am being honest and they missed a trick adding value to them. Nevertheless, this is a slot that is worth your time. I am a big fan of the Robin Hood legend having previously visited the historic outlaw's alleged tree base in Sherwood Forest. Is this a slot that justifies such an icon? I'm not sure. That doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a go.
