The gaming company Incredible Technologies (usually abbreviated to IT) is a US-based developer of coin-operated games, video slot machines and online slots. They were originally founded in 1985 by Richard Ditton, who had learnt his craft as a software engineer at NASA and Elaine Hodgson, who had a background in Biochemistry. From the basement of their home they began creating hardware for pinball machines and programing video games. As the company began to grow they started developing new technology, such as the trackball technology to mimic the actions of the user in games like Capcom Bowling and Golden Tee Off.
It wasn’t until some years later, with the rapid decline in coin-operated video game sales, that the company turned their attentions towards slot machines. In 2008 IT released their first collection of video slots, Keno and poker games called ‘Magic Touch’. It wasn’t until 2010 that they managed to get some of their machine installed in US casinos, with the first ones appearing Barona Casino in San Diego County California. Soon after other casinos wanted to get some of this new technology in their own casinos and IT machines started popping up all over the US in various casinos and slot rooms.
The popularity of the games meant that there was an instant market online and the company entered into a partnership with GameAccount Network to develop several of their popular slot titles for online casinos. The first online slot to be released was Crazy Money in March 2013 at Mecca Bingo gaming site and MoneyGaming.com. It was soon followed by Girls Night Out and Guys Night Out and King of Bling. Many more of IT’s games are expected to be released online and potentially mobile in the future.
