Rainbow Wilds Megaways slot by Iron Dog Studio is nothing special, I'll tell you that now. It's on the same level as their Christmas Megaways slot and maybe not as good as Pirate Kingdom Megaways slot is. Hitherto, my personal favourite of theirs was Blood Queen slot for the graphics and animations. This time around, we get an Irish forest theme which has gentle classical music and stereotypical symbols of the subject such as the ubiquitous leprechaun and fly agaric mushroom. What else? Anyway, can it be fruits of the forest for our bankroll or will it be rotting leaf matter?

Wild types
You have three Wild types possible here:
Normal Wild - appears reels 2 to 6, can display multipliers which are additive.
Mushroom Wild - appear on reels 3 and 4 and will spread up to 3 Wilds adjacently. If a spreading Wild goes to a reel with a normal wild on, it will add 1x to its multiplier.
Sticky Wild - appears only during the free games and will stick within the same free spin only, increasing by 1x multiplier for each tumble it's involved in
Free Games
Fill up the clover ladder by getting 4 or more wins in any one spin. Get 8 free spins, with +2 for any further tumbles in the triggering spin to a maximum of 14. Five or six tumbles will start the spins at 2x or 3x respectively. You can get +2 extra spins in the bonus for 4 tumbles in a spin or for 4 consecutive losing free spins, in both cases +1 for each over the 4. You enhancement here is the standard increasing multiplier for each winning tumble and all the Wilds above can be found here too.
Our View...
With a 95.84% RTP or 96.30% if using the 8-spin bonus buy for 85x or 115x for the 10-spin trigger, Rainbow Wilds Megaways slot is pretty run of the mill for Iron Dog games. The game isn't bad to watch and listen to with soothing colours and music, though little else happens. The Mushroom Wilds tend to be the only way you'll maintain the balance in the base game, but to be fair this is most certainly not a volatile Megaways as the free games aren't hard to trigger. That said, they seldom pay more than 200x bet so think carefully if you have the bonus buy facility in your jurisdiction! Sorry, no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow but it's nice too watch...
