You need all 3 scatters here and the reels are now normal. If a win occurs landing the scatters, you will play the Fortune Re-spins before the Fortune Wins begin. First you see a Wheel which awards 7-13 spins, the symbol you need for filling meters and 0, 1 or 2 extra Keys. You have 7 Codex levels and these each have 5 segments which you unlock by collecting your nominated symbol as indicated in the meter by the Codex. Get to the top, move up a level or landing a Key does the same. You can also now land +10 symbols which help fill the meter up as they need 20 symbols rather than 5 in the Fortune re-spins. You can use any Keys saved up from the Fortune re-spins before the round starts so may start from a higher level. Level one has prizes times bet of 5, 10, 20, 50 and 150x bet whereas level 7 is 100, 300, 500, 2,000 and 10,000x stake! Each scatter landing during the bonus adds +1 spin.

Codex of Fortune slot has a RTP of 90.20% to 98.00% with the optimal strategy being to save at least 3 keys for the Fortune Wins before choosing to activate them. It's not a bad game to watch and play but you'll seldom see much from anything in the base game of over 30x and the same goes for the Fortune Re-spins. The best chance of anything big is in the Fortune Wins free games, and these are usually over very fast with not much to show, even if you do save 3+ keys! You would have to be one brilliant code breaker to crack this game with your money...
