Mega Fortune Dreams slot summary
The original Mega Fortune slot release by NetEnt transformed online slots gaming when it was introduced to the online slots market. It currently holds the record for the largest ever online slots jackpot - won after one lucky player triggered the progressive jackpot of over €17 million. Now, Scandinavian-based slot developer NetEnt is capitalizing on Mega Fortune fever by releasing a follow-up slot in the form of this Mega Fortune Dreams slot.
Five Reels of Fortune
Mega Fortune Dreams is a 5-reel, 30-payline title that immediately looks like a sharper, more lucrative, and a step up the evolutionary ladder compared to its predecessor.
The Symbols
The original Mega Fortune had plain reels with a luxury yacht in the background. In this new version, you are actually on the yacht!
The symbols remain very lavish with a diamond encrusted handbag, diamond ring, glass of cognac, Rolex watch, and bottle of champagne on ice filling up the reels.
Look Out for the Wild Palm Trees
The Wild symbol is represented by a set of exotic palm trees. This substitutes for all other symbols, except for the Bonus and Scatter symbols, in order to complete winning combinations and create more opportunities for wins.
Earn up to 20 Free Spins with a 10x Multiplier
The Scatters come in the form of the huge diamond. These are the key to triggering the free spins bonus round.
You can earn up to 20 free spins if you manage to hit five Scatters across the reels but a minimum of three Scatters is required and this will see you win 15 free spins.
Every win in the free spins comes with a 3x multiplier as well. In addition, if you hit three or more Scatters during the free spins you will receive a random reward of either 3 extra free spins or up to a 2x multiplier. The total multiplier value can increase up to 10x.
It's All About the Progressive Jackpots!
As in Mega Fortune, we all know this slot is all about the progressive jackpot! There are three in this sequel, just as there were in the original. However, they have been given slightly different names in this follow-up slot.
The progressive jackpot bonus feature is triggered if you hit three or more of the Bonus symbols, represented by a wheel of fortune, across the reels.
This will take you to the wheel of fortune bonus feature where there is a wheel with three sections starting from the outside and working in. Each section has arrows and if you land on one of these arrows you will progress to the next section of the wheel.
The first section is the smallest progressive jackpot called the Rapid Jackpot. The next section is called the Major Jackpot. If you are fortunate enough to make it to the final middle section of the wheel then you will win the ultimate prize of the Mega Jackpot. That is the one we all want! The millionaire-maker if you will.
Our View...
Mega Fortune Dreams has really delivered. Its predecessor was one hell of a slot and, in my opinion, NetEnt were taking a gamble by releasing this slot where you can win 1,680,000 coins to be won.
However, that gamble has paid off. If NetEnt hadn't already monopolized the market with Mega Fortune, they have now with the release of this slot. This is a fantastic update to what has already proven to be a classic.
