Viva Cabaret Xtra Choice slot summary
Viva Cabaret Xtra Choice slot by Novomatic was actually designed by a smaller in-house team called High Flyer Games which gave me reservations once I opened it up due to some of the disappointing Redline games we've seen from Novomatic of late. These are pretty low-potential slots such as Garden of Persphone and Realm of Poseidon although ironically these are far better than Novomatic's own last release of the One Hundred To One slot which was frankly awful. Here we have bright glossy symbols and reels over a cool purple background of some pretty cabaret ladies and some soothing jazz music to listen to as we spin. All that remains to be seen is will it be showtime for our bankroll here?
On The Reels...
We get 25 fixed paying lines here on Viva Cabaret Xtra Choice slot and pay 30 coins to spin. The symbols are single and the highest is the Showgirl Wild which pays you 7,777 coins or in other words 259x bet for 5-of-a-kind. There is a dramatic drop down to 107 coins for the Showtime Stage, Singer or Cabaret Sign, 77 for the Top Hat or Champagne Glass and six card values paying 67 or 57 coins for all 5 in a line. You have scatters on all reels and if you were lucky enough to get all 5 that would pay you 4425 coins - there is a reason for these odd pays as we'll see right now!
Wild Multiplier
Any winning line involving a Wild triggers a random multiplier of 1,2,3,5,7,17,27,57 or 77x. I think you may guess which ones you'll usually see but nevertheless there is some significant potential to hit some good line wins there.
Free Games Xtra Choice
Right, you usually need 3 or more of the $ symbol to trigger this round but it can also trigger randomly after any base game spin. You choose from 4 different free games and Wild multiplier combinations which can be 6 spins with Wilds either paying 37 or 77x if in a win, 8 with Wild wins at 27 or 57x, 12 at either 17 or 37x and finally 20 at either 7 or 17x. You can also select a mystery choice which will pick one number of free spins and the Wild multiplier amount randomly. You can retrigger them and they can also retrigger randomly once the bonus is over.
Our View...
Viva Cabaret Xtra Choice slot has some significant wins possible but as with most of their games created by the smaller studios I have little confidence it would happen. try selecting the 6 free games with the high multiplier range and see how many Wild wins ever occur! Your RTP isn't great at 95.21% and that's pretty much par for the course for all Novomatic slots, but at least here you have a better looking game, graphics and animations than the older Novomatics tend to have. The base game plays okay but I got bored quite quickly and the bonus was zero-paying a few times too. Luckily I think cabaret is outdated in this day and age so won't be going to see this show again...
